We are constantly in awe of the wedding artists in Milwaukee! They create some amazing things and this article showcases some of the best.
We recently held our Bridal Networking Night at the Harley-Davidson Museum’s Chrome and brought in some unique elements that would be awesome at any event, but especially badass at a Milwaukee wedding.
Check out these cool touches they brought to the event and the photo shoot – and definitely contact these locally owned vendors if you like these ideas too!
1. A Grand Entrance

We loved this grand entrance, which was designed and styled by Midwestern Bride. It was a stunning addition in the Harley-Davidson Museum’s Chrome tent.
2. Custom Marquee Signs

Ahh, marquee signs from EZPZ Marquee are awesome! And the great thing is you can get any letters you want – think initials, your names or even “MKE Love”.
3. Gelato for Everyone!

Wow, this gelato from Cold Spoons Gelato was super yummy!! And their cart makes an awesome addition to any wedding celebration.
4. A Wedding “Brand”

Using branded hashtags, taglines, invites, signs, and even custom made bricks by local artists (such as this one from Dan Atkinson Works) make your wedding unique and memorable. This event was branded “Je T’aime Milwaukee” which is “I Love You Milwaukee” in French. Pretty cool, huh? Thanks to Midwestern Bride for that one.
5. An Ice Sculpture Unique to Your Event (and brand)

We worked with the mad talented crew at Art Below Zero for this ice sculpture. Notice je t’aime (I love you) and the Milwaukee skyline incorporated as part of the event’s branding.
6. A Snapchat Filter

If you’re into Snapchat, then you have to get a filter specifically designed for your wedding! Contact our friends at QuickGeofilters to make it happen. Also, make sure to scan that Snapcode above to follow the awesome Sound By Design Snapchat account.
7. Locally-Grown Flowers

We love the flowers from Wood Violet Floral Design. Not only are they beautiful, they are locally-grown!
8. A Dress from a U.S. Designer

As part of the photo shoot before the event, we were so excited to have a dress made by Wisconsin-born designer Alyssa Kristin worn by the bride. Fun fact, Alyssa Kristin designs will be carried locally by Miss Ruby Boutique starting Fall 2016!
9. Super Fun DJs

Yes, you want a fun DJ, and the crew at Sound By Design will provide that with the professionalism you’d expect from a top DJ service. They also provide other services like uplighting (see below), photo booths and videography.
10. Awesome Uplighting

Our jaws dropped when we saw the sick uplighting and gobo lighting by Sound By Design. Seriously, this can transform your event space and customize the decor to further coordinate with your wedding’s brand and aesthetic.
11. A Live Event Painter – So Cool!

We loved having Gilly Rose live painting at our event and her creation turned out fantastic! A live painter makes for a great focal point and conversation starter for your guests – plus you get to keep the painting!
12. Eye-Popping Tablescape

The art of table design is perfected here by our planner, Midwestern Bride. She brought together the rentals, floral and design skills to make this tablescape absolutely gorgeous!
13. A Ceremony Fireplace

As you walked into our event at the Harley-Davidson Museum’s Chrome, you were greeted by a romantic ceremony space with a fireplace backdrop. Amazing job by Midwestern Bride.
14. A Sweetheart Table

Thinking of skipping the head table and doing a sweetheart table instead? We love the idea, and your wedding party will too! This table was styled by Midwestern Bride with floral by Wood Violet.
15. Custom Backdrop Photobooth

Always a crowd-pleaser, photobooths are a great way to capture guests having fun. Add in a custom backdrop from Shutterbooth and the resulting photos are not only a riot, but pretty too!
16. A Wedding Planner

You know who can make all of these ideas a reality? A wedding planner. For this event we worked with Ashley from Midwestern Bride and she did a great job developing a brand (I Love You Milwaukee) and making it cohesive throughout the entire event.
17. Hire an Amazing Photographer

The majority of the amazing images in this article were shot by Beloved | By Robyn Vining. If you want images like this from your wedding, make sure to hire a professional wedding photographer to capture them. Trust us, you’ll be glad you did.
18. A Video that Captures it All
We love Chrome at the Harley-Davidson Museum, and this video by Sikora Film Co. showcases the venue at its best! We highly recommend hiring a amazing videographer for your wedding – you won’t regret it!
Such a pleasure teaming up with everyone and thank you so much for the lovely article <3 XOXO
Making sure to hire an amazing photographer is a must! That way, you can look back on your memories and actually enjoy the photographs. It would be awful if you hated how the photos turned out. That would just be a waste of your time and your money!
