A wedding at the famous Milwaukee restaurant Pizza Man? Yes it’s a thing and this couple did it amazingly well for $15K. Their wedding is a great example of cutting costs by cutting their guest list.
We also love the images by MIM Family Member, Roost Photography. Read more about the couples’ vendors and how/why they chose them in the “note from the bride and groom” below.

A Note from the Bride and Groom
We asked the bride and groom to tell us about their planning and budgeting process, and this is what they had to say:
Vendors Found Via MIM:
- Officiant- Judge Derek Mosley
- Photographer- Roost Photography
- Transportation- Churchill Limo
The Venue:
We couldn’t be happier with how our wedding turned out. We started planning with a 150 guest $35k+ budget wedding and came across Pizza Man MKE while looking for a space for our rehearsal dinner. After looking at Pizza Man we decided to cut our wedding in half (literally) and hold both the ceremony and reception on the top floor with 80 guests for just under $15,000.
The Food and Drinks:
Our biggest expenses were the food and beverage, photographer, and dress. We had pizza, pasta dishes, two different types of desserts and late night passed appetizers and if you have ever eaten at PizzaMan you’ll know how AMAZING the food is there!Working with the staff was a breeze as they were extremely flexible with just about everything from the specific beers we wanted on tap, to the layout of the room for the ceremony and dinner.
The Photographer:
Our photographer Brandon Brown (Roost Photography) was flawless. He was willing to meet with us at our venue a few weeks before the wedding to discuss some lighting concerns and do a few test shots for us.The day of the wedding he was by our side but never in the way capturing the most intimate moments with each other and our guests. Because we were a little short on time, Brandon coordinated a new location for us to take photos at and guided us through to from our “first look” to the ceremony effortlessly.
Staying on Budget:
Things that really helped us stay within budget were not breaking the bank on the invitations, getting our flowers from Metro Market, and opting to not have a DJ and just make our own dinner and dancing playlist! All in all there is next to nothing we would change about our budget or wedding!
– The Bride and Groom
A BIG thanks to the bride and groom for sharing their awesome Pizza Man wedding and to Roost Photography for the amazing photos!
