We all know that Milwaukee rocks – so it makes perfect sense that our wedding photos rock too. Just look around our amazing city and you’ll find tons of places for awesome engagement and wedding photos.
To help you out, we partnered with Champagne Studios who sponsored this article and provided all of the amazing photos below. We think you’ll see that with a little creativity and a great photographer, your photos will rock too.
1. Outside of Your Favorite Bar
Love a place like Champion’s Pub (2417 N Bartlett Ave.)? Then take a photo there! Photo by Champagne Studios.
2. Or Sitting at Your Favorite Bar
If you’re like us, sitting at a bar with your best friend can make for some great conversation and memories. This engagement photo was taken at Lakefront Brewery by Champagne Studios.
3. All Over The Third Ward
Seriously, the Third Ward is filled with amazing spots for wedding photos. This one was taken on Water Street by Champagne Studios.
4. The State Street Bridge
The State Street bridge is in the heart of downtown and right next to Pier Marquette Park (get some photos there too). Shot in this direction, you see Usinger’s; turn the other direction and you’ll have some amazing shots of downtown. Photo by Champagne Studios.
5. Downtown from Discovery World
This view of Milwaukee’s skyline can’t be beat. Taken on the patio of Discovery World by Champagne Studios.
6. At The Beach
You can’t go wrong with engagement and/or wedding photos at the beach. Champagne Studios shot this one at South Shore Park.
7. That Wall With The Arrow
This wall, located at 4th and Florida Streets, is nothing special. However, if you get creative there’s some cool photo ops with that arrow. Photo by Champagne Studios.
8. Inside The Hilton Garden Inn
Downtown’s Hilton Garden Inn (611 N. Broadway) was recently renovated and has some amazing photo opportunities! Photo by Champagne Studios.
You can complain about winter OR…you can make the most of it with some amazing winter wedding photos. This one was taken by Champagne Studios at Saint Francis Seminary.
10. The Iron Horse Hotel
The Iron Horse Hotel has amazing photo opportunities both inside and out. This photo was taken by Champagne Studios in The Yard – their outdoor patio and bar.
11. The Aquarium at Discovery World
The aquariums at Discovery World can make an awesome photo backdrop – bonus points if you can get a photo with the scuba divers in there! Photo by Champagne Studios.
12. On A Rooftop
This rooftop photo by Champagne Studios was taken at The Schlitz Building, but there’s several other great rooftops in Milwaukee you can check out – try Cafe Benelux, Hotel Metro and even the top floor of some downtown parking garages.
13. Veterans Park Lagoon
We love wedding photos from the Veterans Park Lagoon – and that view of the Milwaukee’s skyline is amazing! This engagement photo by Champagne Studios is especially cool since it’s at night.
The Trocadero (1758 N Water Street) building is cool and so is the neighborhood. Our recommendation – take some shots outside the building and on the patio, then walk down Brady Street for more photo ops. Photo by Champagne Studios.
15. Juneau Park
You’d never guess this photo was taken at downtown’s Juneau Park, which is one of our favorite parks in the city and filled with photo ops. Photo by Champagne Studios.
16. Under A Bridge
We’ve seen tons of shots like this under bridges in and around the downtown area. This one was shot by Champagne Studios near 2nd St. and St. Paul Ave. Some of our other favorite “under bridge” shots are at the Swing Park and the Marsupial Pedestrian Bridge (near the intersection of Brady St. and Water St.).
17. This Map Wall
Loving this spot, located at the South Shore Pavilion. Photo by Champagne Studios.
18. The Riverwalk
There’s so many spots to take wedding photos on the Riverwalk it’s crazy. Champagne Studios shot this one near the Chase Building downtown.
19. The Sixth Street Bridge
With the downtown skyline in the background, this Sixth Street Bridge shot is awesome! Photo by Champagne Studios.
20. Those Windows
We love these arched windows at Mount Mary College in Wauwatosa. Photo by Champagne Studios.

If you’re looking for a more rustic, nature oriented spot, check out Schlitz Audubon (1111 E. Brown Deer Rd). Photos by Champagne Studios.
