
We LOVE Walker’s Point. This area, also referred to as The Fifth Ward, just south of Downtown Milwaukee and the Third Ward, has continually been developing over the years and is now home to breweries, distilleries and some of Milwaukee’s hottest restaurants.
It also is host to a number of amazing event venues making it the perfect neighborhood to host your wedding and showcase Milwaukee to your guests. Not every venue on this list is technically in Walker’s Point, but they are only blocks away. Read on for our list of Walker’s Point wedding venues:
1. The Factory on Barclay

The Factory on Barclay is a very cool new venue that we are excited about! Located in a newly-renovated, 117-year-old cream city brick building, the space can be best described as industrial chic. Another cool thing – it’s tucked behind the walls of the Original Cheesehead Factory. Yep, it doesn’t get more Wisconsin than that!

2. Chef’s Table

The Chef’s Table is such a unique, intimate spot for your Walker’s Point wedding! Chef David will create a custom, delicious menu for you and your guests to enjoy. Make sure to check out the “hidden” lower-level with a speakeasy vibe as well as the outdoor courtyard with a firepit and room for a tent and tables.

3. Filament

Filament is a re-envisioned venue and sister venue to The Ivy House. Both owned and operated by the amazing folks of Milwaukee Airwaves, this venue boasts beautiful lighting, special touches and ample Cream City Brick for that oh so Milwaukee vibe.

- Features: Cream City brick, creative lighting and amazing industrial photo ops just outside, close proximity to the Third Ward as well as Walker’s Point.
4. The Pritzlaff

The Historic Pritzlaff Building is a major hub for awesome events in Milwaukee. Located just blocks north of Walker’s Point, there are four distinct and amazing venue spaces within the beautiful Pritzlaff Buildings. It is also located on a Hop MKE (aka streetcar) stop connecting it to various aspects of Milwaukee’s Downtown and Third Ward. Fun fact, Miss Ruby Bridal Boutique is located here too!

5. The George

Named after George Walker, the founder of Walker’s Point, The George is a beautifully renovated historic venue on National Avenue in Walker’s Point. Opening in the spring of 2021, the website isn’t live yet, but if you’re interested in learning more contact Saz’s and they can help you out.

6. 1903 Events at The Harley-Davidson Museum

The Harley-Davidson Museum is located just across the Menomonee River from Walker’s Point so we just had to include it on this list! Not only is the H-D Museum ultimately Milwaukee, it is located on a 20 acre peninsula complete with a riverwalk providing ample photo opportunities featuring nature, industrial backdrops, and urban landscapes. Outdoor spaces are also available for your ceremony too!

7. South Second MKE

South Second is in the heart of Walker’s Point located on… you guessed it… South Second Street. We love the modern and open feel of this venue, its bird’s eye view mezzanine level, and its glass garage doors that open to the street level excitement of neighborhood.

- Features: An outdoor patio, garage doors opening to the street level, and a 2nd floor mezzanine level balcony.
8. The Cooperage

The Cooperage is an amazing industrial event space that is host to all kinds of events from live music, fundraisers and badass weddings. Formerly known as Hot Water Wherehouse, this venue is now owned and operated by the fine folks behind Boone & Crockett, Snack Boys and Taco Moto. With fantastic water views overlooking the Hoan Bridge, outdoor space available for ceremonies, parking and a versatile space that converts seamlessly from ceremony, to dinner, to dancing — it’s a super popular venue for the party-loving couple.

9. Engine Company No. 3

By day, Engine Company No. 3 is one of Milwaukee’s hottest brunch spots, owned and operated by the same talented crew of La Merenda. At night, it becomes an amazing two level space for your wedding! As a registered historic site, this former bi-level fire house is a perfect unique spot for events with two distinct, yet connected spaces.

10. The Ivy House

The Ivy House is an open venue concept with creative lighting, state-of-the-art sound system and live greenery, both indoor and out. The Ivy House has an expansive outdoor patio and bar perfect for large and small outdoor ceremonies and amazing cocktails hours and events — you can literally host all of your wedding day activities in this beautiful space.

11. The Carriage House

The Carriage House is an intimate new venue located in the former Movida space on South 2nd street. It’s an awesome venue and was created in response to COVID-19 and the increased demand for micro-weddings.

12. The Iron Horse Hotel

Oh Iron Horse Hotel…so many great spaces exist in this one of a kind, world-renowned, boutique hotel. As the only hotel that currently exists in Walker’s Point, it is the perfect mix of unique event spaces and amazing rooms sure to impress your out-of-town guests.

13. Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co.

Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co. has been a huge favorite of #MKEBrides & #MKEGrooms wanting to show their guests a good time. A renovated factory turned coffee house, it also makes an awesome wedding, live music and event venue.

14. Cream City Weddings Garden

Looking for an intimate outdoor ceremony space right in the heart of Walker’s Point? Definitely check out Cream City Wedding’s Urban Garden.

15. Hotel Madrid

Hotel Madrid is a beautifully ornate restaurant with a gorgeous outdoor patio that is perfect for intimate, unique weddings. Being part of the same restaurant group that operate Walker’s Point favorites: Movida and Don’s Milwaukee — their food is beyond amazing and their cocktails are some of the most creative in town. Plus, we love the staff there — ask for the Meli-Rita!

17. The Mitch

The Mitch is located on Historic Mitchell Street, only a few blocks from Walker’s Point. The space is run by the owners of the Sixth Floor event venue and Cubanitas, so you know you’ll be taken care of. Couples are also allowed to choose their own caterer or bring in their own cuisine.
