A Note From The Couple
We asked the couple to tell us about their planning and budgeting process, and this is what they had to say:
The Vision:
Our wedding was an absolute dream thanks to our family, friends, and amazing vendors. We had a vision of what we wanted our wedding to be, a glamorous winter wedding that felt warm, fun, and romantic, and that vision helped craft our budget. The Venue:
For us, to get the vision we wanted we had to select the perfect venue and Turner Hall was always at the top of our list. The space needed little decorations to fit our vintage glam theme and could comfortably fit our guest list. The amazing staff and beautiful ambiance of the space made choosing Turner Hall Ballroom an easy decision. The Photographer:
The second most important part of our budget was selecting the right photographer. Anna Page Photography is not only incredibly talented and produced pictures we only dreamed of, but she is also calm, kind, and extremely easy to get along with. She was amazing to spend the day with and we are so grateful for the memories she captured. The DJ:
To complete our vision, we needed entertainment to drive the energy of the night and David Charles Productions (DCP) did not disappoint. The staff was wonderful to work with and made the day so much fun. The music kept the dance floor packed until the last song, which is exactly what we wanted. The Day Of Coordinator:
A vendor that we will be recommending everyone get is a day-of coordinator. Laura from Lu + Birch made our day far more enjoyable by taking care of the little things that you, as a couple, don’t want to think about (like where the vendors should park or how you’re bringing your decorations to/from the venue). Having Laura there to make sure that we had the best wedding day was worth every penny and then some. We cannot recommend her enough.– The Happy Couple
