A few weeks ago I attended an awesome event that featured Milwaukee’s hottest wedding caterers, photographers and other vendors at the impressive Historic Pritzlaff Building in downtown Milwaukee.
From the second I walked in, I was drawn into the space by the display of food, flowers and acrobats hanging from the ceiling. Yes, I actually mean acrobats hanging from the ceiling. Settings like this can only be done by the likes of David Caruso at Dynamic Events. Check out the inspiring images from the event below, courtesy of Front Room Photography. Pay close attention to the acrobat – what a cool shot!
Unique, “Raw” Space
The Historic Pritzlaff is truly a raw space that begs for a skilled wedding and event planner to stretch their imagination to fill the expansive venue. Built in 1875, the Pritzlaff has the classic features you’d expect from a historic Milwaukee building – cream city brick, arched windows and massive wooden columns throughout. Located just across the river from Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward, the location is perfect to showcase Milwaukee’s cool-factor to your guests.
The venue is quite different from when I was there a few years ago for a gallery night installation – you definitely had to watch your step. While the space still maintains that open unrefined vibe, the enhancements over the recent years have brought it to that next level that allows it to be transformed into a uniquely hip wedding venue as you’ll see in the images below.
We just had to show some images of the food – these displays are gorgeous!

I attended a wedding this past weekend at the Pritzlaff. I can not rave enough about the waitstaff and the food. Both were amazing! Our main waitress during dinner was Lilly. She was very pleasant and efficient. MAny compliments to the entire staff.
