1. The George and Madcap Lounge
The George and Madcap Lounge was our number one searched venue on Married In Milwaukee, jumping from #21 last year! That’s a big jump in popularity, but it doesn’t surprise us – this Walker’s Point venue is stunning! We like to think this popular $64k cost breakdown and this $38k cost breakdown helped boost its exposure with our readers as well.
2. South Shore Pavilion
South Shore Pavilion is well-loved on MarriedInMilwaukee.com, and with good cause. Nestled right on the shores of Lake Michigan, it’s connected to a charming beer garden and is a proud component of our picturesque Milwaukee County Parks!
We were excited to see Vista made a big jump this year from their #14 position last year! Vista boasts incredible downtown views and outstanding hospitality to complement them. Owned and operated by the same folks behind The The Atrium and Birch,, you can trust that you’ll be well-cared-for, ensuring your wedding day will be nothing short of epic!
4. The Cooperage
With its fantastic staff and an funky warehouse vibe, The Cooperage offers a unique blend of coolness. The outdoor space and a scenic view of the Hoan Bridge are just a few of the perks that couples love about this awesome venue. 5. The Atrium
The Atrium has been in the top 5 on our list for years and it’s easy to see why #MKECouples love this venue. From its amazing rooftop bar and garden to the stunning urban-chic interior, no expense was spared making this venue one of the top in town. Also check out their other venues Birch and Vista.
6. 1903 Events at the Harley-Davidson Museum
#MKECouples seriously love 1903 Events at the Harley-Davidson Museum. The remarkable campus, complimentary parking, and downtown setting make it an ideal choice for your wedding. Be sure to explore their impressive new venue, The All New Garage – it stands out as one of the most distinctive spots in the city!
7. The Ivy House
The Ivy House is always at the top of this list and for good reason – it’s a breathtaking venue featuring a spacious patio, complemented by an exceptional and seasoned staff. Don’t miss the chance to explore The Ivy House and their other venues, Filament, The Starling. and The Society.
8. Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery
#MKECouples love Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery because the history is amazing, the beer is flowing and their indoor/outdoor spaces make Best Place one of the hottest venues in town.
9. Pilot Project Brewing
Somewhat new to Milwaukee, Pilot Project Brewing shot up to the top ten of our list quickly! Located in the Brewery District, it’s a modern space that includes a rooftop patio, views of downtown and delicious beer. 10. The Pritzlaff
We love the beauty, history and flexibility of the Historic Prizlaff Building‘s four unique event spaces, and #MKEcouples love it too!
11. The Fitzgerald
The Fitzgerald is a historic mansion tucked away on Milwaukee’s lower east side. Recently updated, and owned and operated by The Pabst Theater Group, expect an amazing wedding at this historic gem.
12. Schlitz Audubon Nature Center
Schlitz Audubon Nature Center is such a magical spot for weddings! Lake Michigan’s shoreline, forests and prairies create a gorgeous, natural backdrop for your wedding and, bonus, you are supporting their work as a nonprofit!
Anodyne weddings are great, and we are happy to see them return to this list after dropping off the last few years.
14. The Villa Terrace
The view from Villa Terrace is usually what couples notice first. But look further into the venue and you’ll find the building and museum are rich in Milwaukee history.
We’re thrilled to see Filament on the list! Inside Filament is a charming, timeless Milwaukee setting adorned with cream city brick, complemented by filament lights, vibrant greenery, and distinctive décor. 16. The Society
The Milwaukee County Historical Society is one of the most unique wedding venues in town. We’ve always loved this venue, but love it even more after our friends at Two Birds Event Group took over! Their experience running popular venues like The Ivy House, Filament and The Starling ensure you’ll have an amazing wedding!
17. Turner Hall Ballroom
Turner Hall Ballroom always makes this list and for good reason! From awesome live music to amazing weddings, Turner Hall does it all!
18. Milwaukee Art Museum
Absent from the list last year, the iconic Milwaukee Art Museum is back! Always popular among #MKECouples, the Art Museum is an beautiful spot for your wedding.
19. Urban Ecology Center
If you haven’t been to the Urban Ecology Center – Riverside Park you really need to check this place out – amazing outdoor and indoor spaces right in the middle of the East Side (and, yes, they have an indoor slide).

Boerner Botanical Gardens debuted on our list last year and for good reason – the place is stunning!
22. The Gage
This is the second year The Gage made the list and we couldn’t be more happy for them! The industrial chic space is rooted in history and offers exposed cream city brick along with an amazing outdoor patio.
23. Central Standard Craft Distillery
We are super excited that our friends at Central Standard Craft Distillery made the list for the first time! Their venue, called The Mix, is a historic cream city brick gem with an amazing rooftop deck that offers stunning city views.
24. GATHER at Deer District
Owned and operated by the Milwaukee Bucks, GATHER at Deer District is a spectacular venue right across from Fiserv Forum.
25. Discovery World
If you’re looking for amazing views of the lake and the city skyline for your wedding, then Discovery World is for you.
26. St. James 1868
St. James 1868 is just a stunning Milwaukee wedding venue. Located Downtown, this 150 year-old former church was renovated to keep historic details while adding modern interiors.
27. South Second
Located in the hot neighborhood of Walker’s Point South Second is an amazingly unique venue that Milwaukee couples love. Not to mention you’re gonna have amazing food since Saz’s is the exclusive caterer! Check out this popular $60k South Second wedding, and be on the lookout for their amazing new patio coming in 2024.

We were really excited to see The Chef’s Table on the list this year! If you haven’t seen this venue it’s time to check it out. Perfect for intimate weddings, rehearsal dinners and more, don’t miss out on this fantastic spot!
With its Third Ward location and and a NYC loft style feel, weddings at Onesto are always amazing. This is probably why Milwaukee couples always seem to search for this gem on our site.
30. The Starling
Ohhh we love The Starling! One of Milwaukee’s newest venues, The Starling offers an awesome Third Ward location, and HUGE patio on the river and delicious food from #MIMFamily Member Tall Guy and a Grill.
