One of the first things newly-engaged Milwaukee couples look for is their wedding venue, which is why Married In Milwaukee’s wedding venue listings are so popular. In fact, the venues listed below are the most popular on our site!
We analyzed the searches done on MarriedInMilwaukee.com over the last year to find which wedding venues are popular with couples visiting our site. We did this same list last year, and a lot has changed. As we welcome a few new venues to this list and had a few others fall off, read on to see the most searched venues on Married In Milwaukee in 2020!
1. The Ivy House
Congrats to the awesome team at The Ivy House for taking the first spot this year! The Ivy House was number five in last year’s list, but the continuing popularity drove it to number one this year and we couldn’t be more happy – it’s an AMAZING venue!

2. South Shore Pavilion
We kinda love the historic space that is South Shore Pavilion and it gets bonus points for being right on Lake Michigan, attached to a beer garden, and is part of our beautiful Milwaukee County Parks!

3. 1903 Events at the Harley-Davidson Museum
Moving up from number 5 last year, 1903 Events at the Harley-Davidson Museum is always a contender for the top 5. Their amazing campus, free parking and downtown location adds to the benefits of having your wedding at this iconic brew city spot.

4. Turner Hall Ballroom
At the number 4 spot this year is one of our favorite venues, Turner Hall Ballroom. From amazing live music to epic weddings, Turner Hall does it all! They even rock winter weddings!

5. The Atrium
The Atrium opened in 2017 and has been hot ever since. From its amazing rooftop bar and garden to the stunning urban-chic interior, no expense was spared making this venue one of the top in town.

6. The Pritzlaff
The Historic Prizlaff Building is a stunningly unique wedding venue that’s always at the top of this list. We love the beauty, history and flexibility of the Pritzlaff’s four unique event spaces, and #MKEcouples love it too!

7. The Cooperage
The Cooperage first appeared on our list last year at number 24 and we couldn’t be more happy to see these awesome folks move up to number 7!! The Coop is quite simply an amazing venue with an amazing staff. A super cool warehouse vibe, outdoor space and a view of the Hoan Bridge are just some of the benefits couples love about this venue.

8. The Venue at Milwaukee Brewing Company
The Venue at Milwaukee Brewing Company made its debut on this list last year and we can see why – it’s a modern space that includes a rooftop patio, views of downtown and delicious Milwaukee Brewing Company beer. You can’t ask for more!!

9. Filament
Moving up on the list from last year, we are excited to see Filament in the top ten! The space is managed by the group that runs Milwaukee Airwaves and the Ivy House, so you know your big day will go off without a hitch!

10. Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery
#MKECouples love Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery and so do we! The history is amazing, the beer is flowing and their indoor/outdoor spaces make Best Place one of the hottest venues in town.

11. Birch
Oh we love Birch in Wauwatosa! Its amazing indoor/outdoor space is the perfect spot for weddings and as a bonus, it’s right next to Camp Bar Tosa!

12. Schlitz Audubon Nature Center
If you haven’t been to the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center go there now! This place is amazing to explore and will be even more amazing on your wedding day.

13. Good City Brewing
Not only does Good City Brewing make some delicious beer – they have an amazing wedding venue at their East Side location!! They also host delicious and fun rehearsal dinners!

14. The Pfister Hotel
Built in 1893, The Pfister Hotel is one of Milwaukee’s crown-jewels and an amazing space for weddings. Elegance, history and hospitality will all be part of your Pfister Hotel wedding.

15. The Villa Terrace
The view from Villa Terrace is usually what couples notice first. But look further into the venue and you’ll find the building and museum are rich in Milwaukee history.

16. Villa Filomena
We LOVE the Villa Filomena and so do #MKECouples! This historic mansion on Milwaukee’s East Side is a hidden gem that every couple should check out for their wedding.

17. Discovery World
If you’re looking for amazing views of the lake and the city skyline for your wedding, then Discovery World is for you.

18. Wisconsin Club
The Wisconsin Club didn’t make our list last year, so we are happy to see them return this year. This place is a gorgeous, historic space for a wedding.

19. Urban Ecology Center
The Urban Ecology Center – Riverside Park debuted on the list last year and we are glad to see them back! If you haven’t been, you really need to check this place out – amazing outdoor and indoor spaces right in the middle of the East Side (and, yes, they have an indoor slide).

20. St. James 1868
St. James 1868, located Downtown, is a 150 year-old former church that was beautifully renovated to keep historic details while adding modern interiors. Two signature venues offer dedicated outdoor spaces, private bridal suite and groom’s room. It is unlike any venue in Milwaukee. Read more about St. James 1868 weddings in this article.

21. South Second
Located in the hot neighborhood of Walker’s Point South Second is an amazingly unique venue that Milwaukee couples love. Not to mention you’re gonna have amazing food since Saz’s is the exclusive caterer!

22. Plant No. 4
Located in the Historic Third Ward, this is the first time Plant No. 4 made our list of top wedding venues. It’s a great new spot with an elegant industrial design that we love.

23. The Box
Oh how we love The Box MKE!! It’s a great space right in the heart of downtown Milwaukee on Wisconsin Avenue. #MKECouples love the location, the space and working with the awesome owners Jamie and Jaime!

24. Milwaukee Art Museum
The iconic Milwaukee Art Museum is always popular among #MKECouples.

25. Jan Serr Studio
Located on Milwaukee’s East Side, this gorgeous venue, Jan Serr Studio has beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows offering amazing panoramic views of Downtown and Lake Michigan. Add in an expansive outdoor balcony patio and catering by Saz’s, and this venue is one to add to your short list.

26. Onesto
With its Third Ward location and and a NYC loft style feel, weddings at Onesto are always amazing. This is probably why Milwaukee couples always seem to search for this gem on our site.

27. Pizza Man
We kinda love Pizza Man weddings and so do Milwaukee couples! Now part of F Street Hospitality Group, we are expecting even bigger and better weddings at their three locations. Note they also do amazing rehearsal dinners too!

28. Story Hill Firehouse
We are so excited to see Story Hill Firehouse on the list this year!! Story Hill Firehouse is a unique, quaint and historic Milwaukee firehouse built in 1927. Owned and operated by the extremely talented crew at at Evenement Planning, #MKECouples love its historic charm and ample outdoor areas.

30. The War Memorial
If you want to be outside and right on the lakefront, the Milwaukee County War Memorial is your spot! Their outdoor space has enough room for ceremonies and receptions and they also have a gorgeous ballroom featuring floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking downtown Milwaukee.
