1. The New Garage at 1903 Events

The New Garage at 1903 Events is a highly anticipated event space that is now open for business on the Harley-Davidson Museum campus. Managed by 1903 Events, this 8,200 square foot space boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, state-of-the-art audio/visual systems, and five glass garage doors that connect to two different outdoor areas. And bonus, they have free parking too!

2. The Starling

The Starling is a stunning waterfront venue located in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward. With its prime location on the Riverwalk, it offers a unique and unforgettable setting for weddings and events. The space has been recently renovated to include modern touches such as a large botanical moss wall and floor-to-ceiling windows that provide breathtaking views of the water. The large bar is perfect for socializing with your guests, as is the huge patio overlooking the river. And bonus, it’s run by the amazing folks at Two Birds Event Group, so you know you’ll be taken care of!

3. Wantable Cafe

Wantable Cafe is a hidden gem in Milwaukee that doubles as a unique wedding venue. The modern industrial café offers 5,000 square feet of flexible event space that can accommodate up to 250 guests. The space is fully customizable and features garage doors for open-air access, a state-of-the-art sound system, and an 80-inch television. Couples have the freedom to bring in their choice of caterers and have access to Wantable Cafe’s fully staffed bar.

4. Camp at the Fair

Camp at the Fair is a unique event venue located within Wisconsin State Fair Park that can accommodate over 300 guests. The space is decorated with Wisconsin-inspired décor, similar to Camp Bar, and features indoor and outdoor stages, a large indoor bar, and a spacious outdoor area that can accommodate food trucks. With over 20 years of experience that includes running venues such as The Atrium, Vista, Birch and Camp Bar, Hackbarth Hospitality ensures that your event at Camp at the Fair will be nothing short of fabulous!

5. The Fitzgerald

The Fitzgerald is a historic event venue located in Milwaukee. The Pabst Theater Group recently purchased the 1874 home, which had been operating as a wedding venue for nearly 20 years as the Villa Filomena. The group will continue to run The Fitzgerald as an events venue, offering a uniquely beautiful setting for weddings and other special occasions. With its rich history and stunning architecture, The Fitzgerald is sure to provide a memorable experience for couples and their guests.

6. The Society

The Society isn’t quite new, but it’s now managed by one of our favorite event groups in town – Two Birds Event Group. This is the crew that runs The Ivy House, The Starling, Filament and Milwaukee Airwaves, so you know you’ll be taken care of. The Society is a stunning wedding venue that’s located in the heart of downtown and steeped in historical elegance. We also love its location right next to Pere Marquette Park and overlooking the Milwaukee River!

7. Denizen MKE (under construction)

Denizen MKE is a modern and elegant wedding venue located on the west side of Milwaukee, right across the street from the beautiful and expansive Washington Park. The venue offers a one-of-a-kind interior along with an impressive outdoor space, and a sleek open-plan that lends itself to events in any style. Woman and LGBTQ+ owned, we’ve worked with Amber, one of the owners, for years and love her! Now booking for 2024 and beyond.

8. American Family Field (Go Brewers!)

Yes, you can have some pretty amazing weddings and events at American Family Field, home of The Milwaukee Brewers! While American Family Field isn’t new, they’ve renovated many of their events spaces, including the Barrel Yard and the X Golf entertainment center and have some awesome indoor/outdoor event venues. American Family Field offers a variety of facilities year-round for events such as weddings, rehearsal dinners and bachelor / bachelorette parties.

9. The Lookout at Kinn Guesthouse

The Lookout at Kinn Guesthouse Downtown is a spectacular hotel and wedding venue! We love the thought of weddings on the the rooftop deck with stunning views of the city skyline. In addition, The Kinn Guesthouse’s rooms are awesome and very unique. You can even rent the whole floor for you and your wedding guests!

10. The Clybourn

The Clybourn is a brand new venue located in a renovated 1900’s building on the Near West side, close to downtown and Marquette University. Holding up to 175 this modern setting mixed with vintage features offers an unlimited approach to décor for your wedding.

11. Pilot Project Brewing

Located in the Brewery District of downtown Milwaukee, Pilot Project Brewing offers seven unique venues ranging from a rooftop bar, brewhouse mezzanine as well as a stunning atrium with views of the city. Pilot Project serves as a launch pad for start-up breweries, so expect some delicious and unique craft beer to be on tap.

12. South Second (Amazing New Patio)

South Second is an existing venue that’s been around since 2016, but they are making a MAJOR upgrade with their new patio. The new patio will include an outdoor bar and balcony overlooking the space, and can be used year-round with the ability for tenting and heaters. When completed, South Second will have an outdoor seated capacity of 225, and collectively for an indoor/outdoor event, the capacity increases to 300 for a cocktail reception. These changes, plus the fact you get delicious catering from Saz’s, will make South Second one of Milwaukee’s hottest new venues! The patio should be completed by 2024.

13. Broken Bat Brewing Co.

Broken Bat Brewing Co. is located in the heart of Walker’s Point and can seat up to 160 for your wedding. It has a unique atmosphere and offers a diverse assortment of craft beers and craft hard seltzers for you and your guests to enjoy. You can reserve their second floor private event space or one of their semi-private event spaces for rehearsal dinners or other events.

14. 3rd Street Market Hall

We absolutely LOVE the new 3rd Street Market Hall!! Packed with delicious food vendors, 3rd Street Market Hall is also an amazing destination for weddings, with several spaces, in particular The Starlight Room (bottom & middle left pictures above), available to rent for receptions, rehearsal dinners and other events.

15. The Trade Hotel

The Trade Hotel is an awesome new wedding venue / hotel located next to Fiserv Forum in downtown Milwaukee. The hotel offers over 9,000 square feet of elegant indoor/outdoor event spaces. With its prime location in the Deer District, The Trade Hotel provides a unique and unforgettable setting for weddings and other special occasions.

16. Baird Center Expansion (under construction)

A project that most of the city is excited about, the expansion of the Baird Center (formerly the Wisconsin Center) will provide much-needed space for Milwaukee’s meetings and conventions. It will also provide some amazing new spaces for weddings such as their planned rooftop ballroom and sweeping outdoor terraces. Expected completion by 2024.

17. The Barley Room at Pabst

The Barley Room at Pabst is a unique event venue located in the historic 1889 Pabst Brewing Company Bottling House in downtown Milwaukee. The venue has been fully restored and has an industrial yet intimate character. Expansive windows illuminate the space with ample natural light. The Barley Room’s location is within walking distance to hotels, restaurants, the Fiserv Forum and more.

18. Brady Street Hotel (proposed)

There’s not a lot of info on the proposed Brady Street Hotel, so we are telling #MKECouples about it as a “just so you know” type of thing. Plans have been approved, and from what we’ve read it will have a rooftop event space – now how cool would it be to have your ceremony/reception overlooking Brady Street?!?
