What to Expect
Miss Pole’s group classes are a really fun way to connect with your girlfriends. Leave your apprehension at the door because private group classes are geared for beginners. The class is 90 minutes and focuses on “ground” moves – no hanging upside down on the pole is expected in this class! When I met with Kourtney, she stressed that Miss Pole’s mission is to make all women feel sexy – from 18 – 82 years old; 100 – 400 pounds – there is no expectation.
A few things to remember when taking the actual class: wear “flexible” clothes – yoga pants, shorts or “sassy outerwear” are encouraged, as are comfortable sexy shoes. Jeans are not recommended and don’t apply lotion before the class. Feel free to bring your own food and drinks for the party, but alcohol is not allowed. The pole needs your full, unadulterated attention for best results.
