Official Contest Rules
By entering into this contest, you are agreeing to the official rules as listed below.
1. The Sweepstakes is open to any legal resident of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who is 18 years or older except where prohibited by law. To qualify you must be getting married within the metro-Milwaukee, 7 county area (Milwaukee, Waukesha, Kenosha, Racine, Ozaukee, Washington, Walworth Counties) between the time frame of January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2018. Employees of Married In Milwaukee and LaMacchia Travel and any and all of their related companies and corporate suppliers are not eligible. Sweepstakes void where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws apply. Winners agree to publication and/or display of their name, likeness, photos and entry form to be made at the discretion of Married In Milwaukee and LaMacchia Travel without further compensation. Participants are subject to official rules.
2. The contest begins July 1, 2017 and runs through July 31, 2018 and entries must be received during this time frame. Entries can be made for vendors booked between the time frame of January 1, 2017 – July 31, 2018. Entries must be received by July 31, 2018 and become the property of Married In Milwaukee, who assumes no responsibility for illegible, late, misdirected or lost entries.
3. To enter the Married In Milwaukee Honeymoon Giveaway, complete the form at https://www.marriedinmilwaukee.com/honeymoon listing the MIM Family Members you booked. No purchase is necessary to win and an alternate form of entry includes submitting the following via United States Postal Service: print your name, street address, daytime telephone number, mobile phone number, email, wedding date, wedding location and the words “Married In Milwaukee Honeymoon Giveaway” on a 3″ x 5″ plain index card and mail to Married In Milwaukee. Please contact us for the address. Entries must be received by July 31, 2018 and become the property of Married In Milwaukee, who assumes no responsibility for illegible, late, misdirected or lost entries.
4. One Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing in 2018 under the supervision of Married In Milwaukee, whose sole decision will be final. By accepting the prize, winner and travel companion agree to release Married In Milwaukee and LaMacchia Travel and their affiliates, agents and employees from any and all liability, claims, injuries, actions or proceedings arising out of and/or sustained in connection with use, acceptance or possession of prize. Winner will be notified by email and will be required to respond within 14 days of notification, or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be chosen. The number of eligible entries received will determine odds of winning. Limit one prize per family or household. Married In Milwaukee and LaMacchia Travel make no warranties with regard to any prize. Prizes are nontransferable by winners, have no cash value, and cannot be redeemed for cash. There are no substitutions for prizes or changes to available dates.
5. Grand Prize: 4 nights at the CHIC by Royalton Luxury Resorts in Punta Cana, courtesy of LaMacchia Travel. Estimated value of the prize is $2,100 USD. The Grand Prize winner will be responsible for additional fees not included in the package such as: airport parking and transportation, any and all local, state and/or federal taxes, ground transportation, rental car, gas, insurance, food and beverages, gratuities and any expenses not specified as part of the prize. Winner will work directly with LaMacchia Travel to coordinate times, travel dates, potential blackout dates, etc.
6. Travel must be completed by December 31, 2019. Accommodations and travel dates are based on availability and potential blackout dates. Package inclusions may be subject to change. Winner will be issued an IRS 1099 form for prizes valued over $600.
