If you’re like me, you may have found yourself to be in love with coffee. Maybe it’s your desire to stay awake – after all, caffeine is the drug enjoyed by both sides of the law. Or maybe you just love the different things you can do with coffee – lattes, french presses, cafe au laits, iced – I could go on and on.
As you plan your wedding, you may be trying to find ways to personalize aspects of your day. If you love coffee, there are many ways to incorporate this little bean into your wedding. We sat down with Kristin from Milwaukee’s locally-owned Stone Creek Coffee to come up with some fantastic ideas.
Coffee Wedding Favors
Gone are the days of giving your guests Jordan Almonds in a mesh baggie with no personal touches whatsoever. Personalized wedding favors are an awesome way to showcase what you and your fiance are all about and show your guests how much you appreciate them sharing your day. This can be easy to accomplish with individual bags of coffee featuring you and your fiance’s photo on it, but Stone Creek Coffee takes this option to the next level. They have graphic designers on staff that can not only put your picture on the bag, but execute some creative design that can really tie the theme of your wedding into your favors.

Other ideas include personalized coffee mugs filled with chocolate covered espresso beans placed on the table for your guests. In addition, your guests could use these mugs at your wedding’s coffee station.
Coffee Drinks
This is possibly my favorite option for incorporating coffee into your wedding. Imagine hiring a barista to make individual lattes for all your guests – how cool is that! Or picture your outdoor wedding with your guests sipping iced vanilla lattes as they wait for the service to begin. I know I’d like to be at a wedding like that. Stone Creek Coffee has been around since 1993 and provides each barista specialized training – from heating to the correct temperature to making the cool little latte art – so you know they’ll make it just right.
Coffee Decorations
There are many decorations out there that incorporate coffee beans. Don’t feel funny about contacting any of the local Milwaukee coffee houses to see if they have any expired beans available for you. From floral and candle centerpieces filled with coffee beans, to coffee bean circles spread out on your tables, to coffee bean placeholders, the ideas are limitless. Save the Dates
Stone Creek also has a website dedicated to creating personalized bags of coffee in place of average, everyday Christmas card. This concept got me thinking that the same idea can be used for your save the date cards – guests would recive a personalized bag of coffee with your engagement picture and your upcoming wedding date – how cool would that be?
