A Note from the Bride and Groom

We asked the bride and groom to tell us about their planning and budgeting process, and this is what they had to say:

The Venue
It was really important to us to find a venue with character and The Delafield Hotel was our perfect fit. We really loved they provided a number of packages that included the food and drink while allowing you to customize the package as needed.

We were excited we also were able to serve our guests a traditional old fashion as our passed drink. They even included a stay in the honeymoon suite on the wedding night! Having great food and plenty of drinks to go around were high on our priorities. The food options were so delicious, from the appetizers to the meal choices.

The Music
Another important item to us was great music throughout the night. Craig at All-Star Music was great to work with throughout the process. The dance floor was packed all night long, a sign of a great wedding!

Craig also provided the up-lighting for the room which really brought everything together. He really was great at keeping the reception on schedule from speeches to first dances to the last dance.

The Photos and Invites
I cannot say enough about KL Creative and all the services Kayla provided us. First of all, she captured beautiful memories for our engagement pictures and our wedding day. She was so easy to work with and able to get a sense of what we were looking for right away.

Second of all, she also worked with us to design our save the dates, wedding invitations and placecards. She had great ideas on how to tie all the stationary together and really created beautiful items for all aspects of the wedding.

The Dress
I found Miss Ruby through Married In Milwaukee and I am so happy I did. Miss Ruby’s staff was so wonderful to work with and made the experience of shopping for my wedding dress so exciting!

They were the first and only salon I needed to go to find the dress that was the one. I loved working with them so much that I brought my bridesmaids back for all their dresses.
