Attention to details is the key to making your theme wedding unique and memorable. Below are some simple decorating ideas for popular wedding themes to help make your day truly magical.
The Right Timing is Critical to a Cheap Wedding
There are plenty of ways to save on your Milwaukee wedding, but timing is an essential element of getting a great bargain for your cheap wedding. If you’ve got the time, can you work ahead, then choosing the right time of year, month or day can make a huge difference to how much you can save.
Budget Wedding Centerpieces
We did double duty for the wedding rehearsal and reception decorations. We purchased rose bunches from Pick’n Save and vases from TJ Maxx for decorations at the rehearsal dinner. Then we used the same vases for the wedding bouquets at the reception. We then removed the rose petals the next day to use as part of the centerpieces on each table.
Budget Conscience “Wedding Cake”
In planning a Milwaukee wedding, specifically a budget conscience one, decisions are made regarding what is important to you. Basically, you prepare a “must have, great to have, nice to have” list. One way to cut money easily is to forego a cake. While this is a strong tradition for some, it wasn’t on my “must have” list. So to preserve some of the tradition, but not spend the money, we made a few adjustments.
Do-It-Yourself Wedding Invitations
Inspired by my wife’s do-it-yourself flowers article, I decided to tell the story of creating our wedding invitations. When we were planning our Milwaukee wedding, we did go out and browse different wedding invites – wow, they were expensive! Since we were trying to stick to a budget, but still give our wedding its own unique flair, I decided I’d create the wedding invitations myself.
Do-It-Yourself Flowers
When I was planning our Milwaukee wedding, I seriously considered doing my own flowers. I searched all over for reviews of online wholesale flower sites because I was pretty nervous about ordering flowers online. While I didn’t find very many reviews or choices of wholesale flowers, I finally settled on www.growersbox.com.
