Your wedding celebration lasts a weekend at the most, but your wedding photographs will last a lifetime. For this reason, most couples look for photographs that are unique and hold good memories. Milwaukee Art Museum

The MAM is literally packed with photo opportunities, both inside and out (make sure to call ahead to ensure no other events are taking place). Inside use the lake view windows and 90-foot ceilings in Windhover Hall as a backdrop. Additional indoor photos can be taken in the museum’s arched corridor Gallerias or standing at the top or bottom of the staircase. Outside you can take pictures by the fountains, on the pedestrian bridge with the museum as a backdrop, and on the museum's steps and terrace.
Juneau Park Bluff
Kilbourn and Prospect Avenues
The bluff that overlooks Lake Michigan and Veteran's Park offers a great location for a unique wedding photo. Also, photos can be taken by the Solomon Juneau statue and the old cabin at the north end of the park
Milwaukee River Pedestrian Bridge
The bridge runs between Old World 3rd Street and Edison Street and is located between Juneau Ave. and Highland Ave.
Great views of the Milwaukee River with the city in the background make this an excellent urban photo opportunity.
Veteran's Park Lagoon
1010 N Lincoln Memorial Dr., Milwaukee
A photo taken from the north side of the lagoon will have the city's skyline in the background. Move more to the east and capture some of Prospect Aveneue’s high-rises or jump in a paddle boat for a fun photo.
Holy Hill

Climb to the top of Holy Hill where panoramic views of the surrounding countryside await – a great time to take pictures here would be in the fall, when the leaves are changing colors. However, anytime of year the view from Holy Hill is beautiful. The neo-Romanesque church, built in 1926, is stunning and would make a great backdrop for a wedding photo (even if you didn’t get married there). In addition, there are shrines throughout the grounds as well as an additional 435 acres to explore.
Harley Davidson Museum
400 Canal St., Milwaukee

Inside the museum, you'll find photo opportunities with all types of Harley's, as well as historic Harley advertising, as a backdrop. Outside the museum, use the building as a background. Also, check out their statue, water towers and river views.
