When deciding on a wedding photographer, it can be important to determine what you want. There are different types of photography – some like the posed or staged shots – say the bride and groom standing in front of the church looking directly into the camera – while others prefer editorial or photojournalistic style photography. Editorial photos are generally taken from the background; they are taken to tell a story, to capture moments of raw emotion. While this doesn’t mean you can’t have your picture taken in front of your favorite view of the Milwaukee downtown skyline, you ultimately want to hire a photographer based on their skills that will give you the end result you are looking for in your wedding photos.

I have to admit that I am bummed to have missed out on the awesome trend of brides wearing shoes that match her wedding colors. <sigh> But check out these wedding photos from Temika and Jerry Reaves’ wedding also featuring the cutest teal shoes.
