Wow, 2016 was one great year for weddings and we had an amazing time covering it! We put out new articles weekly, but these ten really struck a cord with Milwaukee couples.
This Boston couple started their relationship in Milwaukee and came back for their wedding – we love that!! This fact drove a lot of their vendor decisions and made them want to create an authentic downtown Milwaukee feel for their big day.

A wedding in a coffee shop? Hell yeah, especially when it’s a wedding at Anodyne in Walker’s Point! For just under $22,000 these two coffee-lovers had some great vendors and 150 guests.
We love how they did a separate, very intimate ceremony (12 guests!) in Tosa’s Hoyt Park. Another cool thing – they had food stations customized to their unique backgrounds as well as tons of Wisconsin food to showcase our state to their guests.

This new rooftop venue, which opened in September 2016, has an amazing indoor/outdoor space, light-drenching skylights and windows, with a full bar inside and spectacular city views outside.
This couple wanted a fun wedding in a convenient, walkable location that showed their love of Milwaukee. We’re happy to say that they did this and did it well.
